I first came to know about this hidden gem in Karama/Dubai via one of my foodie instagrammers. Though I don’t remember when was the last time I’ve been to that neighborhood but for new food spot I would drive to anywhere 😉
So made up a plan to go and scanned all the details about this little hidden gem through social media and got some useful tips : try to avoid the place on weekends as usually there are long queues waiting to be seated. 1 other tip is to go weekdays between 3-5 pm
At Seafood in a bucket you dine with sensible prices!! Not very often will you encounter a restaurant that serves seafood with freaky reasonable prices.
The interior is artistic and bright. Presentation is really simple, decent & practical; don’t expect fancy arrangement just forget your dining manners at home & dig in with both hands. Instead of focusing on presentation and subtle flavors, seafood in a bucket displays & provide their food in buckets, there will be no plates or cutlery and drinks portions were really generous. The experience was also quite different than places I have been to, truly one hell of an experience you just have to see for yourself.
My Experience with the Menu:
Lobster & Sand Lobster: best with Asian BBQ sauce [FAV] goes well with the steamed rice.
Shrimps: Best with teriyaki sauce & to be ordered with strong level of Spice [FAV]
Clams & Mussles best with teriyaki sauce or sweet chili YUM.
Crabs: Best with black pepper sauce.
Sauces : Creamy, super rich, and flavorful my fav Asian BBQ, Teriyaki & Black Pepper.
Drinks: So far I tried their blue virgin mojito , green apple , berry & watermelon all recommended & served in generous portions with reasonable prices ranges 5-6 AED only.
Desserts : not available unfortunately.
New branch will be opened soon in Ansar mall as far as I’ve been informed.
