Biryani Pot- A casual Indian cuisine celebrating/ indulging with our taste buds
Celebrating UAE national day with biryani how could this be better. I have being invited over Biryani pot to try their dishes, the moment they introduced their national day special biryani couldn’t hesitate and it has being quite an exciting experience. They serve their dishes with a twist and spice, the ambience is quite casual with touches of Indian feel. You can order the food as prepared or you can even suggest your addition preferences.
The service and staff is excellent as they will answer any of your questions with ease, they also have delivery service.
I liked how they have gone out of the usual dishes and sought out to try and be creative to suit the UAE culture taste. They have introduced earlier the Biryani Ouozi which was delicious however it was discontinued for the time being and for the National Day they made a Biryani dish with the national flag colors.
Below is a list of my experience and dishes I had were all yummy:
Quinoa salad– Perfect way to start every meal and loved the twist of it. It had cucumber, pomegranates and raisons and each bite was filled with balance and flavor.
Quinoa biryani– For the healthy conscious individuals this was one of the best dishes I had. It was light and filled with flavors. I opted for vegetarian but you can ask if you wish meat or chicken etc. My friend whom is not into anything healthy loved this dish .
Prawn curry – Simple yet spicy and .
Paneer cheese tandoori– Loved the creativity of this dish, cheese blocks seasoned with capsicum and grilled to perfection. Served with it was the paneer bread.
Chicken masala chicken butter on a bed of potatoes – This was one of my favorites as well, the potatoes and butter chicken curry sauce went well together. [FAV]
Rasmlai – Panner or cream cheese soaked in cardamom infused cream and coated with sprinkles of pistachio. Loved this dessert it was cold and perfect way to end the meal. It brings out relaxation.
Golab jamon – Indian version of dumplings except they serve with sugar syrup and sprinkles of pistachio. It is served hot and it was surprisingly light.
National Biryani– In celebration of National Day, Biryani pot created a one of kind dish. The dish is created based on National flag colors and all the colors are natural and organic. The red is colored with beetroot puree, the green with spinach puree, black is lentil and the white is the rice itself.
